ώπα! The second CIVINET Greece-Cyprus Forum is set for 28-30 May

The second CIVINET Forum, which is organized by CIVINET Greece-Cyprus, is a three-day event (28-30 May) that will bring together the sustainable mobility know-how and experience of cities and islands across Europe. With a theme inspired by the New European Bauhaus – "moving more sustainably, making our lives better together" – the forum promises to be a dynamic gathering of over 500 professionals, including politicians, mobility practitioners, researchers, students, industry representatives, start-uppers, civil society members, creative artists, and citizens.

During the forum, we will have the honor to present UPPER along with many other Civitas and EU mobility-related projects such as CIVITAS Initiative MUSE, SPINE, E-SMARTEC, eCharge4Drivers, ELABORATOR Project, GREEN-LOG, NextETRUCK, PE4TRANS, RECREATE, SCALE, SHOW, SINFONICA Project, URBANE Project, and VIRTUAL LAB.

Ms. Annie Kortsari of Certh will be presenting the UPPER Project "The main objective of the project is to strengthen the role of public transport as the cornerstone of sustainable and innovative mobility. The project implements a combination of measures looking to push people out of private cars and to pull them closer to public transport in cities across Europe. Representing CERTH and the twinning city of Thessaloniki, she will also share information on the 10 mobility measures being implemented, focusing on increasing multimodality, overall user satisfaction through efficient traffic management, increasing PT share, and decrease of private car use and provision of incentives for the overall increase of multimodality."
