Reduce dependency on car ownership

This measure develops and tests integrated mobility subscription models aimed at reducing dependency on private car ownership. The measure brings together public transport, bike subscriptions, car sharing, and carpooling through Ruter’s mobility platform and cooperation with mobility service providers, employers, and housing associations. Through different business, pricing, and service models, the measure explores how combined mobility offers can incentivize more sustainable travel behaviour and reduce the need for private car use. The work also includes development of administrative and digital solutions to support scalable implementation, while generating insights into user behaviour, service integration, and long-term viability of shared mobility solutions.
