UPPER makes his voice heard at EIT Mobility Talks webinar
Next Sept 25, from 15:30 to 17:00, project partner EIT will hold the 26 episodes of his Mobility Talks webinar
This episode entitled What are cities and PTAs doing to bring more people on public transport? will explore tangible use cases and stimulate a discussion around cities’ strategies to encourage more sustainable modes of transport. This entails aspects such as how cities and PTAs collect and analyse mobility data, improve public transport user journeys, or ensure that public transport is both affordable and attractive with solutions like Demand-Responsive Transport, (partially) free public transport, and integration with new mobility services.
In this Mobility Talk, UPPER partners EMTA Thomas Geier, INSTANT System Alexandre Durand, and Eurocities Francesco Iacorossi along with Bea Cleeren from the city of Hasselt, will take a closer look at the actions cities and public transport authorities (PTAs) are taking to move more people with public transport and shared mobility.
UPPER aims to spearhead a public transport revolution that will strengthen its role as the cornerstone of sustainable mobility and innovation in cities, ultimately leading the transition towards a future of zero-emission mobility, we're sure our partners will make our project voice heard!
