UPPER at POLIS Conference 2026

The annual POLIS Conference 2026 is taking place in Brussels on 2-3 December, and UPPER will be there!

On 3 December at 14:15, UPPER will join forces with eBRT2030, another UITP-coordinated EU-funded project, to host the workshop “Buses and Beyond: How to Enhance and Promote Efficient Public Transport Solutions”.

Improving public transport services is essential to increasing passenger satisfaction and ridership while reducing reliance on private cars. Combined with urban access regulations and public space reallocation policies, these improvements can help accelerate the transition towards more sustainable urban mobility.

The session will bring together insights and recommendations from both projects, drawing on practical experiences from participating cities to explore how cities and regions can make public transport more efficient, attractive and accessible.

The workshop will also showcase practical tools and solutions developed through UPPER and eBRT2030, designed to be adapted and replicated across different local contexts.

Will you be at POLIS Conference 2026? We hope to see you there!
