URBAN MOBILITY DAYS #UMD23

The Urban Mobility Days Conference combines two previously leading events from Europe’s transport calendar: the CIVITAS Forum Conference and the European Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs). The Urban Mobility Days conference provides the ideal opportunity to network, debate key issues, and exchange ideas on emerging transport trends and technologies, the latest developments in sustainable urban mobility planning, and solutions to make mobility in cities and towns more sustainable.

The conference fosters the exchange of ideas and offers a networking opportunity for those involved in the development and implementation of such activities to share their relevant experience. It will provide the ideal opportunity to hear from the cities, people and projects driving innovation in smart, inclusive and sustainable mobility, including those putting the SUMP concept into practice, and provides the chance to exchange and connect with policymakers, local authorities, academics, NGOs, urban transport practitioners and urban planners.

#UPPERProjectEu will be presented Wednesday 4 October 2023 at the Project Pitches session
A fast-moving, fact-filled presentation of major aims and achievements by the representatives of selected projects. One minute, one slide, one chance to catch your attention!

Save the date: Urban Mobility Days 2023 taking place from 4-6 October in Seville, Spain.

Here is the complete program for the conference

As 2023 is the European Year of Skills Urban Mobility Days will have a specific focus on transport skills.

"We need much more focus in our investment on professional education and upskilling. We need better cooperation with companies, because they know best what they need. And we need to match these needs with people's aspirations. But we also have to attract the right skills to our continent, skills that help companies and strengthen Europe's growth." Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission

The event is being organized together with the upcoming Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
