New Multimodal Digital Mobility Services (MDMS) with a focus on accessibility and inclusion

This measure aims to improve the accessibility and inclusiveness of València’s digital mobility ecosystem within a Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) solution, following a “Mobility as a Right” principle. The measure focuses on the deployment of NaviLens technology across the public transport network and its integration into the EMT València App to enable more accessible and user-friendly access to mobility information.

The solution consists of installing NaviLens codes at key transport infrastructure points and enabling their use through the EMT app, allowing users to instantly access real-time, location-based and multilingual information in an accessible format. This enhances wayfinding and independent mobility, particularly for blind and low-vision users, while also improving the overall usability of public transport information for all passengers.
