Lisbon makes students’ daily lives easier
With the start of the new school year, Lisbon's UPPER partner TML - Transportes Metropolitanos de Lisboa as part of the measure LIS_7 https://www.upperprojecteu.eu/measure/lis_07/ intends to revolutionize the experience of young students by introducing an innovative feature in the Navegante® App. From now on, renewing the student pass no longer requires store trips, endless queues, and bureaucracy. The renewal can be done quickly, safely, and directly dematerialized in the mobile application.
This new feature not only makes students’ daily lives easier but also represents a significant change in the way TML interacts with passengers who use public transport daily, promoting the dematerialization of services and the digitalization of processes. The communication campaign that accompanies this change aims precisely to ensure that as many students as possible adhere to this new model, minimizing the influx into physical stores and, consequently, the usual traffic jams in September.
Campaign Objective
The main objective of the campaign is to divert users from physical stores to the digital environment, taking advantage of the new features of the Navegante® App. TML aims to educate students about the advantages of using the app, highlighting the simplicity and convenience of renewing their pass without leaving home.
Expected Impact
With this campaign, TML hopes to significantly reduce the number of visits to physical stores during the renewal period for access to the 100% discount granted by the Free Young Student Ticket. By simplifying the process and promoting it widely, TML not only improves the customer experience but also improves the in-person service experience, avoiding overloads and increasing the time available for more personalized service.
The campaign reinforces TML's commitment to modernizing its services and getting closer to its users, offering them practical and innovative solutions that facilitate their daily mobility.
