UPPER at the 2025 Urban Mobility Days #UDM25

After the successful meeting in Seville in 2023, we will gather again next week, this time in Vilnius, the European Green Capital 2025. 🌱

An ideal opportunity to network, debate, and exchange on key European urban mobility policy issues with policymakers, local authorities, NGOs, academics, urban transport practitioners, and the industry. In 2023, the focus was on transport skills; this time, the conference will place urban mobility within the context of the new European Union priorities (“A new plan for Europe’s sustainable prosperity and competitiveness”, “Supporting people, strengthening our societies and our social model”). This will be highlighted by the cross-cutting topics of competitiveness, innovation, and tourism throughout the three days of the conference, each dedicated to urban nodes, cycling, and public transport.

Public transport users expect an excellent service that is safe, accessible, convenient, flexible, connected and sustainable. Transport operators need to meet these requirements and adapt to changing needs and expectations. This session takes stock of the latest innovative design solutions for vehicles, stations and services that can help urban public transport operators improve their overall operations, efficiency, safety and security, and foster an attractive and competitive public transport sector in Europe.
